The privacy of users of the www.morethantax.nl website is our top priority. We want to give everyone who visits our site full knowledge about how to protect their personal data.

2. Data controller and contact

The controller of personal data is the More Than Tax accounting office, based at Hart van Brabantlaan 12, 5038 JL in Tilburg.

Personal data are processed on the basis of the signed agreement on the provision of accounting services, including filling in online forms and other services commissioned in the agreement.

3. Definitions

Personal data — data of a person who can be identified through the use of these data. This Privacy Policy explains how we use the personal data you entrust to us.

Recipients of your data — entities to which we may transfer some of your personal data in connection with their performance of certain activities or services on our behalf. These entities cannot do anything with your personal data unless we instruct them to and only within the scope we indicate. They will store your personal data securely and only for the period we indicate or as required by applicable law.

Services — services provided by More Than Tax mainly in the area of accounting and HR/payroll services for business entities. Prices and rules for the provision of services are set out in the Terms & Conditions and Price List.

Cookies — so-called internet cookies, i.e. tiny pieces of information saved by the server on the computer's disk in the form of small text files.

Privacy policy — this policy setting out the rules concerning cookies and the rules for processing and protecting personal data.

4. Collection of personal data

The collection of personal data takes place exclusively with the consent of Users using the forms on the website and via email.

Your personal data are recorded in an (electronic) register.

5. Purposes and grounds for processing your personal data

Your data are processed for the purpose of concluding and performing an agreement to which you are a party. The basis for the processing of data is its necessity to fulfil a legal obligation incumbent on More Than Tax, in particular to make data available to state authorities on the basis of legal regulations, e.g. for tax and accounting purposes or for issuing and storing invoices and accounting documents.

You always have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

6. Is providing data mandatory?

Providing data by the Client is voluntary, but necessary for the proper performance of services provided by the Controller. From the moment the User consents to providing personal data, failure to provide them will prevent the Controller from undertaking the activities for which consent has been given. At any time, the Client has the right to withdraw consent by sending an email to the Controller's email address or by phone. The Controller has the right to refuse to delete the User's personal data if retention of the data is necessary due to a legal obligation imposed on the Controller.

7. Period of storage of personal data

Personal data are stored for as long as is necessary due to the performance of a given agreement or legal regulations. In the case of data used for other purposes, they are stored until an objection is received or a request for deletion of your personal data.

8. User rights regarding personal data

In accordance with Article 13(2)(b) AVG (Dutch GDPR), everyone has the right to access, rectify or delete their personal data or restrict processing, as well as the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. Each such application must be accompanied by a copy of a valid identity document, which has been signed, and an address at which you can be contacted. You will receive a reply to your request within 1 month of the date of submission. Depending on the complexity of the requests and the number of requests, this period may be extended by two months if necessary.

9. Legal obligations

In the event of a violation of any statutory or executive regulations, in respect of which there is a suspicion that the data subject and in respect of which the authorities need personal data collected by the controller, these data will be transferred to them at the express and justified request of these authorities, after which the personal data will no longer be covered by the protection under the provisions of this privacy statement.

10. Cookie policy (so-called internet cookies)

Cookies are IT data that are stored on Users' end devices intended for the use of websites. They are mainly text files that contain the name of the website they come from, the time of their storage on the end device and a unique number. Cookies are not used to process personal data and their content does not allow the user to be identified. If the Cookies function is disabled, selected elements on our site may be unavailable.
